Warm Welcome Awaits Our Visitors
We meet on the first Thursday of every month, except December, at the Royal Hotel in the centre of historic Winchester. Visitors are requested to advise Brother Vice President David Morgan, our temporary Dining Officer, by email to: campionaccountancy@btinternet.com or telephone (number available from usual sources), of their visit no later than Noon on the Monday preceding the meeting. Vegetarian and other diets can be catered for with sufficient notice..
The hotel has limited parking. There is a large municipal
car park within 500 yards where parking is free after 6pm.
Registration
is from 7pm and our meeting commences at 7.15pm. We are a
dining Circle and as such enjoy a three course dinner with
wine and coffee. Following dinner we often have a guest speaker
and the evening concludes around 10.30pm.

Travelling North on the M3
from Southampton, Portsmouth etc
Exit the Motorway at Jn 10. At the roundabout at the bottom
of the slip road take the first exit. At the T junction turn
right and head towards the City Centre. At the next roundabout
turn left and cross the bridge over the River Itchen. At the
large roundabout take the second exit. The road is two way until the compulsary turning left when it becomes one way. Get onto the right hand side. The road is straight, turns 90 degrees left and at the traffic lights turns 90 degrees right. You are now on St Georges Street. Take the second right into St Peter Street. The Royal Hotel is in100 yards on the right hand side.
Park in the hotel car park if you can, remember to obtain a card to place on your dashboard to avoid being clamped - you have been warned!
Park on the street if you can but do check the parking signs.
For the nearest public car park follow these instuctions.
Drive to the end of St Peter Street. Turn right (one way) and immediately get into the right hand lane. Take the first left at the traffic lights. The road turns to the right and the entrance to the car park is immediately ahead of you. Park close to the entrance for the shortest walk back. There are no known security issues.

Travelling
South on the M3
from Fleet, Basinstoke etc
Exit the Motorway at Jn 9. The slip road end at a roundabout
on top of the Motorway. Take the third exit into the Winnall
Trading Estate. Carry on until you reach a T junction. Turn
left (no option) and quickly get into the left hand lane. Take the nfirst right onto the one way system. Get onto the right hand side. The road is straight, turns 90 degrees left and at the traffic lights turns 90 degrees right. You are now on St Georges Street. Take the second right into St Peter Street. from Newbury, Andover etc
Continue until the A34 meets the M3 Motorway (jn 9) at the
Winnall Roundabout. Take the fourth exit into the Winnall
trading Estate and proceed as above. (Travelling

Multimap or SatNav?
Alternately
you could link to Multimaps.com and obtain a route from your
door to the Royal Hotel's door. Its very easy click on the
Multilimaps link. When you are at the Home Page click on "Get
Directions" on the top navigation bar. At the next page
enter the Post Code of your starting address and the destination
Post Code, which is the Royal Hotel SO23 8BS. Remember
to verify both entries. Now click on the icon "Printer
Friendly", it's to the right of the page. When ready,
print the page for a map and turn by turn directions (File
